Kathmandu, Nepal
I bought two of my books from this Danish bookstore, that kept me company on the long trek up to Everest base camp
Namche Bazaar, Nepal | Everest Region
The hardest trek is most likely the one to Namche Bazaar. It lays at 3600 meters and the elevation to get here climbs to 700 meters. This is the biggest village in the Everest region and where you would acclimatise for a day or two before continuing up to thinner air
When you encounter Yaks on your path is best to move quickly to the side furthest from the edge. Yaks do not stop just because you are in front of them and will push you off the side
One of my favourite tee places. Nepal has probably the best tasting tee and almost an unlimited varieties
